Type 1: The Reformer
Principled, purposeful, self-disciplined — driven to make things right.
Who Type 1 actually is
Type 1s are driven by an inner sense of how things should be. They hold themselves and others to high standards, work hard to do what's right, and feel deep frustration when systems, people, or their own behavior fall short. At their best, 1s are wise, fair, and quietly inspiring; under stress, the inner critic gets loud and rigid.

Frequently asked

Often — but more specifically, 1s are driven by an internal sense of correctness. Perfectionism shows up when their standards become rigid or self-punishing.
What's the difference between a Type 1 and a Type 3?
Both achieve, but for different reasons. 1s achieve to be right; 3s achieve to be admired. A 1 wants the work to be correct; a 3 wants the work to look impressive.
