Six vocational interest types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional.
Definition
Holland's RIASEC framework matches people to work environments. A three-letter code (e.g. SEC, IRE) captures the dominant blend. Person-environment fit predicts job tenure and satisfaction.
Example
An IRA (Investigative, Realistic, Artistic) hired into a Social-heavy customer role is a documented turnover-risk pattern.
